REASON 1: THEY CAN BE AN EVERLASTING MEMORY OF YOUR SPECIAL DAY
Although some of my customers worry that sugar flowers are the hardest to keep, if you follow some simple rules, you could have an everlasting memory of your special day. Here's some quick tips on storage:
DO Keep them cool, dry, and away from dust - preferably covered in a breathable cardboard box, such as a cake box.
DON'T subject them to extreme temperatures. For instance, keeping them in the garage is not recommended where temperatures can fluctuate.
DON'T put them in the fridge. Once removed, they will sweat and any colour will run. They may also take on odours from other food and this isn't a hygienic storage option.
DON'T store them in the kitchen as, again, they may take on odours from cooking and perhaps spices should they be kept in the same area.
DON'T put them on the windowsill as they will fade and could melt if exposed to direct sunlight.
DO store your topper straight away.
REASON 2: THEY CAN BE EASILY WORKED INTO YOUR BUDGET

For instance, a spray of flowers can be made into a simple single stem with a few sprigs of leaves or some branches. Wafer paper flowers are a fraction of the cost and also take less time to create, which makes them an ideal alternative to flowerpaste. They are also less likely to break!
